Description

Looking to develop your sales career? In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team of SDRs responsible for generating leads for EdTech products. Activities will include generating qualified leads, and up-sell opportunities within the US market. You will be provided with the required product training to ensure success. The role will involve shift work to ensure that you can target the US timezone.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, educate and qualify target accounts to create opportunities for the Account Executives team.
  • Research accounts, identify key buyers, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity.
  • Manage the lead activity in your territory, qualifying interest by interacting with prospects via telephone and email.
  • Track opportunities in the CRM, with enough detail to educate the Account Executive as necessary about the opportunity.
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.
  • Schedule demos for potential customers to be performed by the Account Executive team.
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives.

Mandatory Skills

  • English native level fluency is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
  • A self-starter with a positive personality and a track record of success.
  • Strong time management.

Preferred Skills

  • Minimum one year of direct sales experience or telesales preferred.
  • Track record achieving sales goals in an automated sales environment.
  • Accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system required.
  • Basic understanding of Windows, Microsoft Office, and web applications.
